EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Back up failing. I have read the forum and tried all of the "safe" settings in the control panel, but still not working.

I would suggest excluding the "agentsite" directory from the backup or at the very least the "agentsite/administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup" directory. The 2Gb files in it seem to be causing unnecessary bloat of your main site's backup archives, leading to your disk space running out and your backup failing.

You can exclude folders through the "Files and Directories Exclusion" feature of Akeeba Backup.
