chapter 1-2
Joomla! version: (2.5.11)
PHP version: (5.3.24)
MySQL version: (5.5.30-cll)
Host: (claus web)
Akeeba Backup version: (3.7.7)

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Backup doesn't work.
In the past I was using the free version. It worked for a while. I did also a backup using a file from March. (or maybe April can not remember now). Then at some point I could not do the backup.
I made the php upgrade and still no result.
After that I decided to make a subscription but I have the same error after the upgrade. I made all the steps. I read all the troubleshooting steps.

Some info from my host:

php memory limit 256MB
php max exec time 30 sec (or max. 60)

I look forward for your reply because I really need to make an update before implementing some major modifications on my website.

Thanks in advance for your support.

You have a 54186688 (about 54Mb) file in your site's root called administrator.zip. Please remove it.

You may also have to go to Akeeba Backup's Configuration page and set the Part size for Split Archives to 10 or 5Mb; I suspect that your host has a maximum file size limit.
