Akeeba Backup version: 3.7.10

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hi,

I've been experiencing a minor issue. Whenever an update for Akeeba Backup is pushed out I get an Update Message email once every minute. I don't have any issues with the admin tools update email. Any idea of what might be causing this?

This means that the entry in the #__extensions table on your site is either gone or somehow screwed up. You will have to uninstall and reinstall the component. Please note that this results in your settings and any backups in the default output directory (administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup) being removed. You can export your backup profiles (from the Profiles page) and download your backup archives before the uninstallation to save this information before the uninstallation.
