The version is irrelevant. The backup needs more than 5 minutes to complete. Your host has hardcoded a 5 minute time limit in their CRON jobs. Please ask your host to lift or increase this time limit.

I will need to look at its log file. Please open a new ticket for that other site.

Hi Nick

Unfortunately I see your message very late and my host provider have all ready increase the time limit from 60 to 240...

I have another sites which I'm going to implement your solution on the same host so as soon as I have the log I will open a new ticket

Many Thanks / Regards

240 seconds = 4 minutes. As I wrote above:
The version is irrelevant. The backup needs more than 5 minutes to complete. Your host has hardcoded a 5 minute time limit in their CRON jobs. Please ask your host to lift or increase this time limit.

So, basically, you verified my educated guess: the CRON job timeout is way too small to complete a backup.
