EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hello !

Is it possible to make a full backup (files and database together in 1 zip-file) to an ftp-server ?
Can't find how I can do that...

Regards,

;-) Arthur

The split archive options are located in Configuration, in the Advanced Configuration section, Archiver Engine, click the Configure button. To get a single part archive, set the Part size for split archives setting to 0 (zero).

Generally speaking, you need to split the archive into parts to be able to transfer it to cloud storage. A remote ftp server would probably be the exception to that rule.

That's not what I asked, sorry..

How can I automatically backup the files (using cron) to a FTP-server ?
I can't see where I can enter FTP-details to upload the automatically created backups to an ftp server (I have my own fp-servers).

Ah! That's a whole different thing. :-)

Under Configuration, in the Advanced Configuration section, under the Data processing engine option, select Upload to Remote FTP Server or Upload to Remote SFTP Server. Then you can enter the connection details by clicking the Configure button.
