Description of my issue:

Tried running backup but ran into this error...
Looks like this is refering to an extension I removed called JSN Power Admin.

Error
An error has occurred.
1146 Table 'jml.jngfy_jsn_poweradmin_favourite' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW CREATE TABLE `jngfy_jsn_poweradmin_favourite`

Hello Robert,

it seems that you have a corrupted table.
In this cases MySQL could not delete it because it's corrupted.
You can try to repair it logging in inside phpMyAdmin and do a check/repair on it.
If that's not working, you can try to exclude the table from the backup.

If even this is not working, you should contact your hosting and ask for support, since you can't do anything else.

in phpMyAdmin when I expand the list on the left it's there and when I click on it I receive a message
#1146 - Table
'jml.jngfy_jsn_poweradmin_favourite' does't exist

When I scan the right side of the list it's just not on the list.
I'm guessing that's what you mean, select the table and click repair on it, but it's not on the list to select.

Going to work, will try more later. Any other advice welcomed.

mhm... sadly you're in the latest scenario: you have to contact your hosting and explain the problem.
Most likely this is what happened: the table got deleted, but MySQL still has a "reference" to it.
So it thinks the table is still alive, leading to the errors you reported.

Aghhhhhhh!!!!!
sorry just had to get that out. I'm building the site on my local MAMP so no one to call but myself. Unfortunately I don't know how to clear the reference to it. Any further advice or a site that goes over the steps would be very appreciated.

Did you tried to exclude the table from the backup?
In Akeeba Backup control panel go inside Database Tables exclusion page.
Please exlude that table and try again.
