Description of my issue:

Hi,

I am very satisfied with akeeba back up pro.

But every mail for automatic update we receive are wrong. For several months, when we click in the link given in your email for update, we ALWAYS get the same error message :

Le type du package n'est pas valide. La mise à jour ne peut pas être effectuée.

type of package not valid....

Why does the system send emails with a wrong link ?

we manage more than 30 joomla websites and it would be great to have a valid link !!

With our site upgrade on December 25 all of the Download IDs changed. You can read more about it in this article: https://www.akeebabackup.com/home/news/1537-new-site-and-changes-in-dlid.html.

I think you need to update your Download IDs and then click the Refresh button on the upgrade page. If you do not refresh, you still have the wrong upgrade url and it will not work.

Hi,

Thank your for your prompt answer !

We successfully did it but get an other error message :

The plugin Système - Akeeba Backup Vérification mise à jour is obsolete and will now disable itself. Please use Extensions, Extension Manager, Update in the back-end of your site to receive and apply updates for Akeeba Backup.

Pierre,

The current version is 3.10.2, it may be telling you that you need to do another upgrade. 3.10.2 was just released yesterday. The error message is a little strange, but the French may be throwing me off.

So you think that the problem will be ignored for the 3.10.3 update....

Yes, you can update to 3.6.3 through Joomla!'s Extension Manager and you should not have a problem.
