EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I am just trying to run an akeeba backup after installing the latest akkeba pro version 3.10.2 and I get the following error.

I also analysed the log file and went through the process of changing the part size to the various options suggested but this did not help.

My log file is attached.

Thankyou.

The backup operation has been halted because an error was detected.
The last error message was:

AJAX Loading Error

The part size was not the problem, it never got as far as packing any files. It died during the database backup. There is a strong possibility that your host is limiting the number of MySQL queries you can do per time period. Please check with you host to see if they impose such a limitation.

The only thing we can do to avoid the limit is to slow down the backup so we are not making so many queries in a minute. But that will significantly increase the time required for the backup process.

Dale, just an update on this issue. I was told by the host that "Yes, the number of SQL queries are limited on all our server via CloudLinux and CageFS". The host tried to make some changes but I still kept getting failed backup errors.

I have actually had problems on that particular server with that host before with another site which they moved to another server and so I asked them to move this site to another server.

I have just run a backup, and while the Backing up Files section took quite some time, the backup did work and complete.

There must be some differences between the server environments but we are not sure what they are.

At least the backup is now working.

Thankyou for your help.
