I am trying to transfer my website but I keep having the following error
Failed Smart algorithm on AECoreDomainPack

I get the same error even if I try to make a normal backup.

what can I do?

quali sono le impostazioni del backup? Per caso sta effettuando il caricamento su di un altro server?
Potrebbe lanciare un backup "normale" (senza alcun trasferimento file) ed allegare il relativo log?

Ciao Davide,

ho riprovato, il backup normale funziona senza problemi. Continua però a non funzionare la funzione site transfert. Mi da il seguente errore.

Questo problema si presenta quando il server remoto rifiuta la connessione, dopo che Akeeba Backup si è disconnesso e ritenta di collegarsi.

In questo caso le opzioni sono due: o effettua un backup normale, lo scarica e poi lo carica nuovamente sul nuovo server, oppure lo trasferisce su Amazon S3 ed utilizza Kickstart Pro per importalo nuovamente sul nuovo server, prelevandolo sempre da Amazon S3

HELP.

ieri ho installato akeeba professionale per fare un site transfert ma non funzionava (conversazione qui sopra)

Da questa mattina il mio sito non è più accessibile (mi da un errore 406 non accettabile)!!!!!!!!!!

Provando a fare il ripristino del sito tramite cpanel viene la procedura di backup viene interrotta a causa di un errore di akeeba.
Questo è il testo dell'errore:

Insomma dopo aver pagato 50 euro per il vostro software che non funziona mi ritrovo con il sito bloccato e l'impossibilità di fare il ripristino da cpanel a causa di un errore generato da AKEEBA!!!!!!!!!

cosa posso fare per tornare ad avere mio sito funzionante??

A 406 error means that your host is using mod_security2 and this is what is rejecting your request to connect to your site. This is installed by your host to the server that your host maintains and your host has configured this. We are NOT your host, therefore we cannot be held responsible for a hosting issue. As a matter of fact, the most likely cause for a 406 on badly configure servers is the remember me cookie. Usually deleting your browser cookie and page cache is adequate to "fix" this temporarily. However if this is the case then you have a big problem with your server configuration and you MUST talk to your host about it. Today it's you, tomorrow it will be your site's visitors being blocked.

Furthermore, you are telling us you are trying to extract a .tar.gz backup. Our software only produces .JPA, .ZIP and .JPS files. It is quite evident that you are NOT trying to restore a backup made with our software and you are NOT using our software to extract it as it does not support .tar.gz archives to begin with. Therefore you are coming here telling us that you have a problem with YOUR HOST even though you paid US 50 Euros. We are NOT your host! We can't possibly help you with your host's backups.

Finally, please note that our software runs inside Joomla!. When you are accessing Control Panel you are not accessing Joomla!. Whatever happens in cPanel has to do with cPanel and your hosting configuration. Joomla!, our code and even PHP in general DOES NOT run inside cPanel. This is a simple precaution taken by cPanel (and Plesk and all the other hosting control panel providers) to isolate the hosting configuration from any user-installed applications which might screw up the site. Simply put, even if your Joomla! installation is bricked you can still access your hosting control panel. Conversely, even if your hosting control panel is bricked you can still access your Joomla! installation. Implying that our software has any effect on your cPanel operation is similar to implying that the fuel you put in your car has anything to do with the performance of your motorcycle just because you keep them in the same garage. This is outright absurd!!!

You have two hosting issues which you are blaming us for. Sorry, we cannot offer support for hosting issues and we do not appreciate being accused for things that have nothing to do with our software. This ticket is closed. Contact your host to seek support for these two hosting issues.
