EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:
Hi, I have multiple sites set up using cron jobs sending backups to SugarSync once a month. This has worked fine for 6-12 months. I have recently noticed across a few of these sites that backups have been failing for the last couple of months. I thought it may have been because they were sites with large (300-400Mb+) or many files. I have tried a few methods as mentioned for bigger sites eg. Large Site Scanner and thought it may work but it hasn't. I have also noticed a strange occurrence that it states in the back end that a backup was successful, but one file j.01 is left behind on the server. This is for big and small sites so I'm not sure what's happening there. Any help to trouble shoot this would be greatly appreciated. I have just spoken to another web developer with similar problem occurring across similar set up. If you can help me I can help him. Thanks again.

Regards,
Nick

Hello Nick,

please confirm this: the backup you take is fine? You simply have an issue uploading it to the remote storage provider?

Hi Davide,

As far as I know the backups were working. Do you want me to test an install of the backup and see if there are any errors?

Regards,
Nick

Looking at the log, it seems that the archive part is uploaded successfully and it's deleted from your site.
Can you please post here the filename that's "left behind"?

I think it's a leftover of another backup: the log you sent it's taken on 15th of May.
Can you please download that file locally, delete it from your site and then run that backup profile again?

I checked and the 15th of May was the date that the other back up files were taken. Just to make sure, I performed a new backup. All the files have come across to the cloud server succesfully. I would like to run a couple more tests, including using a cron job to backup, as well as test on other sites that have failed as well. I will report back in the next day or so. If you could please keep this ticket open until then it would be appreciated. Thanks for all your help.
