I was notified of an Akeeba Backup update by Joomla and tried to run it but received the error message:

Package download failed: https://www.akeebabackup.com/component/ars/?view=download&id=2629&dlid=&dummy=my.zip

Any ideas please?

Please double check your Download ID. With the release of 3.3, Joomla! once again tweaked the hashing algorithm which changed our Download IDs.

You can also download the package from our Downloads page and install it through the Joomla! Extensions page. Do not uninstall, if you do you will lose all your settings and possibly your stored backup archives.
