We will release a new version of Akeeba Backup which should fix this issue next week. If you're in a very big rush we can provide a dev release, but we can't do that sooner than Monday morning as I'm out of the office and the laptop I am working on doesn't have the necessary software for me to build a dev release. Sorry :(
