EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I have updated Akeeba Backup to it's last version and I tried to clic on the "accept mandatory information and apply setting" or "Apply these preferences" button and nothing happened. Same thing with Admin Tool.

I had clear browser cache, Joomla cache, Server Cache and still have the problem.

Any idea on what's the problem?

Thank you

Clear your browser cache, shut down your browser entirely (if you're on a Mac use CMD-Q to completely quit the browser), restart the browser and go to the component's page. When you see the checkboxes, press CTRL-SHIFT-R (or, if you're on a Mac, CMD-SHIFT-R) to force-reload the page. The buttons should now work. This is usually caused by broken redirection caching in certain browsers, mostly Chrome and Firefox.

Thank for your fast reply.

I did exactly what you explain, and I still have the same problem.

I tried it in Chrome for Mac, Firefox and Safari. Same problem.

Any other idea?

Are you using SiteGround's Super Cache? If so you must clear all of its caches or wait for a day until they are automatically purged.

I flush the super cacher, waited 48h, empty my browser cache, restart my computer and still have the same problem.

Any other thing to do?

The only thing that I can think of is a partial installation. Try installing Akeeba Backup again, without uninstalling it before, clear your browser cache and retry. If that still doesn't work I would suggest turning off caching in Joomla! Global Configuration. If that still doesn't work then I have no idea why you have this issue.
