EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

Hello

i would like to know whya my download ID is changing

I use this ID at all my sites and everytime you change it i need to go inti each site and chnage it to update Akeeba Backup

this happend already a few times and is VERY annoying

dlb
We understand how annoying it is. The Download ID was based on your hashed password on our site. Joomla! has changed the password hash twice recently. The first time was in December and the most recent was in March. In each case, when we updated this site, the Download IDs changed.

With the 3.11.3 version, the Download ID is no longer based on the password hash, so we should be done with all these ID changes.

Thank you for your understanding.
