Description of my issue:
I am trying to update Akeeba Backup from 3.11.2 to 3.11.3 as per the prompts/reminders ( i.e. blue button in Akeeba Backup that says Update to 3.11.3 "with text "An updated version of Akeeba Backup (3.11.3) is available for installation."

When doing this I get the following error:
Error connecting to the server:
Oh, dear, we have a 403
ACCESS FORBIDDEN

Please try one of the following pages:

Home Page
Package download failed: https://www.akeebabackup.com/component/ars/?view=download&id=2753&dlid=&dummy=my.zip

Please see attached screenshot.

Thank you for your help with this.

I went back to the Akeeba website and reloaded the download ID - and it now works.

I dont now why/how that changed - but its working now,

Thanks

Graham,

The Download ID changed in March when Joomla! again changed the hash for the password. All these changes should be behind us now, Nicholas changed the way the Download ID is calculated.
