EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue: the administrator directory is not back up

my website is http://www.divesitenet.com

i can give you access to the backend if needed

There are several folders being skipped. Your current backups are not reliable to restore your site.

Go to Files and Directories Exclusion and press the Reset all Filters button at the top of the page. That is the most likely cause of the problem. It could also be an exclusion under RegEx Files and Directories Exclusion, but that is much less likely.

Pierre,

Please post a new backup log and I'll try to figure out what is being skipped. Thank you.

Hello Pierre,

According to your log file your administrator directory is backed up just fine. The only excluded files are the Thumbs.db and .DS_Store files which are used by Windows and Mac OS X respectively to store thumbnails of the contents of the directory. These files must not be uploaded to your site, that's why they are automatically excluded. Moreover they have nothing to do with your issue.

A quick Google search of your error message tells me that this is an issue with Jomsocial. Unfortunately JomSocial has chosen not to display public forum replies to non-subscribers. Therefore I have to close this issue and kindly ask you to contact them for further support with what seems to be an issue with their paid software.
