Update: Could not open update site #37 "Akeeba Ticket System", URL: http://cdn.akeebabackup.com/updates/ats.xml

We get this when trying to run Joomla update.

This happens when Joomla! gets stuck with one or more entries of the old, defunct ATS update URL in its database. Unfortunately we don't have a way to fix that. You can go to Extensions, Extension Manager, Update Sites and disable these obsolete update sites.

(FYI: The Update Sites page is a feature our company contributed to Joomla! 3.4 to ease the management of these update sites)

Ok, thanks for the help. I disabled the Akeeba Ticket System update and the error has stopped.

To be clear: is there any way to modify or change the update site to the correct one? You said "we don't have a way to fix that," but do you mean that you can't stop Joomla! from occasionally having this database error or do you mean that you can't fix it once it happens? It would obviously be preferable to be able to update through Joomla! rather than manually.

We have already written a workaround which will be present in next week's release. It seems to be working BUT I won't feel comfortable declaring it a success unless it's tested "in the wild". That's why I was very cautious in my phrasing. It will also auto-enable the updates through Joomla! again.

Would you like to test it before it's released perchance?

Our site is still in development, so we would love to test out the new version early. Thanks.
