Hi.
To reproduce this issue, please try:
- In one category that has more than one page got to the second one, for instance
- change the category to one than has a few tickets that don't exceed one page
In this case no tickets will be shown.
This happens in frontend and backend.

That happens in Joomla!. The pagination works by storing limitstart and limit (offset relative to the first result and number of items to show per page) in the session. That's stored per view. So when you stay in the same view (Tickets in a category) but change the context (category ID) you may end up with the wrong pagination. If you try solving that you end up with other very interesting issues while using the component. So, yeah, I know, nothing I can do about it, sorry :(
