Hello JoomlaPackers

After installing the native tools i tried to start the remote tool and got this:

Failed to open Database C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\MYUSERNAME\Lokale Einstellungen\Anwendungsdaten\JoomlaPack Remote\jpremote.s3db:
unable to open database file.

After that i get an access violation.

Path exists but MYUSERNAME has a "ü" in its name.
I guess this could be the reason since my collegues username doesn't have that and he can start it up normally.

I also deinstalled and reinstalled the native tools with no luck.

You are probably right about the cause of the error, I'll flag this for Nicholas.

I will have to look into this. I think this might be an issue with the SQLite driver we are using. If all else fails, you can always install JoomlaPack Remote as a portable application. This should get you up and running ;)

I can confirm that the portable version worked.
Though when I moved the portable directory to D:\äöüàèé\native the error showed up again.

Hope this helps to find the bug ;-) )

I can confirm this problem is fixed in Release 538.
