Dear Akeeba Support,
due to an error, a second site in a subdirectory of my main-site has been damaged.
Is it possible to restore the website in the subdirectory by using the backup of the main site?
Simply restoring the main site didn't work. Main Site is Joomla 3.10.12, new site is 4.4.0.
Help is very much appreciated!

do you have the backup of only the child website? Or do you have a backup of the main site + the child one? In the first case, it's pretty easy: simply upload the archive and run Kickstart to restore your backup. In the latter it's a bit harder since you have everything together. In this case it's better to restore locally the main site + child, then take a backup of only the child website, upload the archive in the subfolder and perform the restoration there.
