Description of my issue:

I have been asked to help out with a site as they are trying to transfer it from a local computer to a web host. We have transferred the siteseveral times to the host and are now having trouble with a few areas of the admin backend. Getting 500 INternal Server Errors when trying to access the "Joomla! Update" component and Rockettheme templates.

As far as I can tell those are the only times that happens.

Error Log:

As you can see from the warning (not error) message they come from core Joomla! libraries. I'm not sure why you are requesting support in the Akeeba Backup support section for those issues. These come from limitations set by your host which are completely wrong and misguided. Please tell your host to read http://www.dionysopoulos.me/blog/135-flicking-the-wrong-switch.html
