Kickstart loads with buttons disabled. Never seen this before. Its is on our staging subdomain www2. Any ideas. The problem is also in joomla itself so must be perms somewhere. Can figure out whi kicksart not working.

recreated site and set kickstart to 0777. This is plesk serve rbut been using it for years cant see any issues.

really weird if I use plesk preview from the plesk admin panel its ok.

Your last screen shot gave me an idea. There are two .js file inside the Kickstart archive available on our Downloads page. Please upload those two files along with kickstart.php and try again. These two .js files are normally downloaded via the site's internet connection, so they only have to be used when your server has no internet connection. It may be that the download is being blocked by a firewall and we need to make them available to Kickstart.
